Sidney and Fitzhugh tied the knot at The Island House in John’s Island, South Carolina, surrounded by the beauty of the Lowcountry and the warmth of their closest friends and family. With its sweeping views of the Stono River and moss-draped oaks, the setting was nothing short of storybook perfect.

Every detail of the day was thoughtfully brought to life by planner Emily Shoffner, whose eye for timeless design and effortless flow made the celebration feel both intimate and elevated. From the heartfelt ceremony to the cozy lounge areas and candlelit dinner tables, everything felt true to Sidney and Fitzhugh’s vision.

And when it came time to celebrate, Emerald Empire Band kept the energy sky-high. With a custom setlist tailored to the couple’s style and crowd, we made sure the party didn’t stop until the very last note. Watching guests of all ages hit the dance floor—and stay there—was one of our favorite parts of the night.

We were lucky enough to collaborate with the talented team at Lightwave Event Artists, who captured every candid laugh, teary-eyed toast, and dance move in perfect detail. Their vibrant, documentary-style imagery brings this special day back to life in the most authentic way.
